I just saw this, and send my condolences to Bill, Judy, Cheryl and the rest of the extended family. Ever since I met Hazel as a teenager living in Gaspe she welcomed me. When I visited Gaspe.as an adult I always stopped by and we had a short visit and chat. I'll miss her if I visit Gaspe again.

We were Mrs .Hazel’s neighbours for many years. She was a kind and caring lady and we couldn’t have asked for a better neighbour. She would often bake an apple pie for Zane as he would hint how much he liked pies.

Mrs. Bannier was a loving and caring person. I always listened to her advice. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a forgiving person. I knew her mainly in my teen years and she was a great example to me. I thank God for having known her.
