Obituary of Brian Kell

It is with great sadness, that the family of Brian Sheldon Kell of Wellington, Nova Scotia announce his passing on Sept 23, 2020 from injuries sustained in a tragic accident on August 26, 2020. Brian was the son of Ruth Elder (nee Keer) Kell and John Adrian Kell of Westville. Brian was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and lived most of his life in Halifax, Truro, Calgary and then in Wellington for the last 15 years. For those 15 years he was a valued employee of the Irving Big Stop Restaurant in Enfield. He is survived by his sisters, Pamela Spencer, her children, Adrian Spencer, Austin (Mirela Johnson)and Amelia Heim (Daniel Heim) and also her grandchildren Cash Heim and Ashton Spencer and sister Evelyn Craigie (George Craigie) and her children Laura Carigie (Ryan Ami) and James Craigie. Brian was predeceased by his wife Wendy Lee (nee Lye) Kell in 2000. Brian will be fondly remembered for his love of family, love of cooking, extensive knowledge of musical artists and his collection of music. A celebration of Brian’s life will take place at a later date.
