My heartfelt condolences on your great loss. I first met Joanne through her friendship with my cousin Kim. Our paths crossed years later at our community rinks where Joanne totally supported her boys. She always had a friendly greeting for everyone, along with her beautiful smile. To Kevin and family and the Chabassol family, my prayers are with you. Joanne was a true lady. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Joann at the bank and I could always rely on her for a laugh and boy could she blush ❤️I left NS 30 years ago but when I came home to visit all us girls would get together to chat and get up to date on each others lives. Joann came to dinner almost every time. She was a very special person with a heart of gold. She made others feel so good about themselves with her kind words and actions. God bless your family with strength and release from your grief.

Oh my Catherine
I'm truly sorry and heartbroken to hear this news! Joanne…She is so present in my memories during our eventful teenage years and yes, there to pull us out of trouble time and time again! One of the wonderful ‘big sisters’ that you shared with me and thank you for that.
Rest well Joanne
Holding you and your family close to my heart Catherine and sending prayers

Dear Kevin and all of JoAnn's loving family - The news of the passing of beautiful, wonderful, fun loving, kind and compassionate JoAnn was shocking and heartbreaking to everyone who was privileged to know her. She was definitely one of the most hard working and beloved CWL Members and we her sisters in the League will miss her so very, very much. . Today at morning Mass she was not there to lead her decade of the Rosary, as she often did, but I know she was joining us from heaven, where I know she is spreading her sunshine around. Heaven gained a special guest but earth is poorer for her going. She will never, ever be forgotten.
