To Don and to Darlyn's family, my deepest sympathy to all of you. Darlyn was a lovely person. I would like to have known her better but distance prevented that, but she always sent me a little note each month. I'll miss that.

My first memory of Darlyn is when my mom(Jackie) married John Darlyn’s brother. Our family flew to Nova Scotia for the honeymoon/vacation. Darlyn invited us over for dinner. And she made her famous Blueberry Grunt. It was delicious. The whole family embraced our family like we had been there forever. That’s the east coast way!! Mom used to call Darlyn on her birthday every year. And when she couldn’t I would. Except this past one. But I did talk to her in January. Don thank you for making my Aunt Darlyn’s last years on this earth a very happy, loving and a satisfying one. Aunt Darlyn you will be missed. Teena, Danny, Melissa and Katelyn Tourlousse.

I grew up in Lorne and went to school with darlyn and her sister's and brothers we also had a mutual aunt (Ivy) my deepest condolences to her children her husband and Diane Ron jenn Shelley when we saw each other after a long time we had a great chat and long hug rest easy now Dar you earned your wings

Our sincere condolences to Diane, Jenn, Ron and Shelley, husband and families. All of Helen's kids were amazing and it's hard to believe another one has gone on into the gates of heaven. Regardless of that assurance we are all so sad to be without her. Thinking and praying for you all in these days and those to come. Let Christ carry your burdens bring you peace.

Darlyn became a neighbour in my late teens. I spent a lot of days with Dar before she had her children and became busy being a Mom. We both moved on in life but any time we met there was always that connection like in the early days , many laughs, a catch up and a warm hug. Sad to hear of her passing. Sending prayers and thoughts to her four children Roseanne, John, Rachel, and Chris. her siblings, her Husband and extended Family at this very sad time.
