Obituary of Pauline Adelaide Joyce

April 13, 1929 - April 29, 2025

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great, grandmother Pauline Joyce.

She lived a full and wonderful life raising nine children, travelling extensively and working at Michelin.  She was a devote catholic, taking great pride in her church and faith.  She just received her 40 year pin from the CWL Holy Name, Westville.

Pauline is survived by her daughter Paula (Bruce Rodgers) Little Harbour, Lee (Marilyn) Joyce, Mt. William, Stephen Joyce, New Glasgow, David Joyce, New Glasgow, Bruce Joyce and Paul Joyce, Alberta.  Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Pauline was predeceased by children Willard (Evelyn) Joyce, Marie (Doug) Dwyer, Beth (Robert Windsor), their father Bryce Joyce, grandson Matthew and an infant daughter at birth.

Visitation will take place from 2-4pm on Monday May 5th in the Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday May 6th in The Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, Westville, with Fr. Peter MacDonald presiding. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Pallative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital, for taking such good care of her.
