Mr. Jenkins was a father figure to many especially if you were a 21 year old girl who lost her Dad. There was Macaroni Casserole for supper which we didnt get to eat. I got the call to rush back to the hospital as my Dad only had hours to live. I remember his words vividly as I left their front door on Jan. 10th, 1988, If we can help in any way, love yah Kid" and the hug was so tight and meaningful. A memory I visit every Jan. 11th. May he rest easy. The memories and tears are plentiful, but so are the smiles he brought.

Marie and family- so very sorry to hear about Art. The Merb won’t be the same . We’ll miss seeing him on the deck and miss his conversations and especially his sense of humour. Our kids still talk about the end of season treat bags that arrived at the cottage door. Sending deepest sympathy and hugs. Stephen and Kathy

So very sorry for your loss Marie, and family, was extremely blessed to have had Art as part of my life. He truly was a wonderful man and blessing to all who knew him. May he fly high with the angels, love you Art, will always be in my heart
