Obituary of Lindsay Lee Tye

In Memory of Lindsay Lee Tye 1985-2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother, daughter and sister. Lindsay Lee Tye, 39 passed away in the Aberdeen Hospital on July 3rd 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Lindsay was born on August 8th, 1985. She grew up in Westville, NS where she met her life long partner James Andrew MacPherson. She graduated from Northumberland Regional High School.

Lindsay was a loving mother to her two children Ashley and Brandon MacPherson, her family was everything to her. She is the most selfless caring person you will meet. She was such a nice genuine person to everyone, she is gone way too soon.

Lindsay is survived by her loving husband of 25 years James MacPherson; children Ashley and Brandon MacPherson; father Robert Tye (scotsburn); mother Joanne Tye (Westville); sister April Tye (Gordie); and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A visitation service will be held at Eagles Funeral Home on Wednesday July 9th from 6-8pm.

The family would like to thank EHS, Westville Fire and Rescue Team and the Aberdeen Hospital who helped care for Lindsay.
