It is with tremendous sorrow to hear of Herbie’s passing. He was a great friend and he and Alvin stayed buddies over many years. Only a couple of weeks ago we were reminiscing about things they did together, how they referred to each other as Mr. Herb and Mr. Alvin. He showed kindness not only to his family but people he met and worked with throughout the years. Our condolences to the family. Love, Alice & Alvin Cresine

Herb was one of the nicest and smartest guys I ever worked with. We worked together several times when I was a member of 1178 M/W Hall in NS. I considered him a friend even though we never spent much time together off the job. My deepest condolences to his entire family.
