Obituary of David Gerald Nevers
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grampie, son, and brother David after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
David was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, to Gerald and Jean Nevers. He was a millwright by trade, where he worked at Hawbolts Machinery until he and his wife stated their own business, L.A. Cabs.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Peter, Matthew, and Johnathan, and daughter Amanda (Matthew).
Dave's favourite name was grampie, which he was so proudly called by his grandchildren Landon, Ava, Lexie, and Lincoln. Dave's love for his grandchildren had no words. He so proudly made sure that he bought each of them their first fishing rods in hopes they would love it as much as he did.
He is also survived by brothers Ray Nevers (Kathy MacLeod), Arthur Nevers of Woodstock, NB, Robert Nevers (Kathy), of Frediction, NB, and Granville Nevers (Jackie); as well as many nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Jean (Hudson) Nevers; brothers Clarence (Marcine), Harold (Winnie); and sisters Joyce (Jerry), and Clara (Gorden).
A celebration of life will be held at Eagles Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25 from 3-5pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
