Obituary of Dorothy "Dianne" Durling

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy "Dianne" (Moulton) Durling, 82,  on November 19, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at the Valley View Villa, Riverton.

Dianne was born in Westville, NS, on October 13, 1943 to Catherine Livingston and Wallace George Moulton.  Dianne spent most of her life in Pictou County, where she was a proud member of the Salvation Army Church in Westville.  Dianne also worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.  

Dianne is survived by her son Tony (Melanie); granddaughter Brittany Flemming (Matty); brother Gary (Susan) as well nieces Georgina, Cassandra and Shauna; nephews Wallace, Scot and Mark.

Besides her parents, Dianne was also predeceased by her husband Daniel "Danny" Durling in 2019, sister Lillian Crosby, brothers Ralph Moulton and John Garfield; and brother-in-law Ralph Crosby.

In keeping with Dianne's wishes, there will be a graveside service on Monday, November 24th at 2:00 pm, at the Auburn Cemetery, Westville, with Major Dan Roode officiating.

Dianne will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.
