Obituary of David Andrew West

David Andrew West was born on September 8, 1949 in Shubenacadie, and passed away on Novemebr 18, 2025 at the Aberdeen Hospital at the age of 76.  He was the son of Roberta West.

David's favorite pastime was pool.  He lived for Monday night leagues, and won alot of trophies over the years.  David enjoyed teaching his grandchildren how to play as well.  He enjoyed playing the guitar with friends and his brothers.  When you went to visit, if he wasn't in the garage, he was playing pool.  David ran his own bulldozing company, enjoyed doing mechanical work on his equipment, and spending the days in the garage working on cars for everyone.

David is survived by his wife Muriel West; daughters Angela West (Mike) and Heather (Caley) Macumber; four grandchildren Andrew, Sadie, Carter and Mason; his sisters Sandra (Brian) Miller and Linda Helpard; sister-in-law Darlene West; as well as several nieces and nephews.

David was predeceased by his mother Roberta West and brothers Stew and Steve West.

Visitation will be held at Eagles Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 from 1-3pm, will private family burial to follow.
