Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Royles

We the family of the late Marie Elizabeth Royles are deeply saddened to announce her passing on December 10, 2025.

Mom was a life long resident of Pictou County. She loved All things beautiful and was herself. She excelled at being a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her love for her family was unwavering.

She worked part-time for many years at the Ceildeh for her fun money. Donna and her had lots of great times at work and outside work her Nick name was Mrs Javex ‘, which is still added to many good memories. Her fun was about music, bluegrass with dad and her family. You were always welcomed at her house, and the family dinners were so good they could not be duplicated. Decorating was her thing, and her home was always spotless. She had a great love for her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Mom was a very special and sweet friend to me. She will be greatly missed by all who got to know her sweet soul.

Marie is survived by her children Kim (Donnie), and Glenn; son-in-law Mark; grandchildren Danielle, David (Evelyn), Ryan (Destiny), and Shauna (Kurt); great-grandchildren Ellie, Penelope, Lily, and Madelyn; sisters Judy, Shirley (Dave), and Barbara; and brothers Donnie, Bryce (Violet), Wayne, Ronnie (Margie), and Sandy (Jeanie).

She was predeceased by her parents Allie and Margaret Harris; husband Warren; daughter Wanda; sisters Peggy, Doreen, and Susan; and brothers Murry, Frank, Bernard “Bunny”, Jimmy, and Allie.
