Obituary of John William "Johnny" Zugay

It is with great sadness that we the family announce that on January 3rd, 2026, John (Johnny) William Zugay passed away in the palliative care unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.

Johnny was predeceased by his parents, Felix and Angeline (Rondelet) Zugay, as well as several brothers and sisters. Johnny was also predeceased by his best friend in life, Judith (Judy) Fraser. Johnny is survived by his children, Billy (Amy) Crossman, Claire (Cory) Scott, Eileen Zugay (Dana Malloy), and Chris (Joelene) Zugay. Grandchildren, Lola, Sadie, Mark, Miranda, Stevie, Will, Brady, Cali, and Jordan. Great grandchildren Alexander, Jaylen, Jax, Chanho, Jiho, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. As per Johnny’s wishes, there will be no service or graveside burial. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
