Obituary of Rodger Bruce MacLeod

Rodger Bruce MacLeod of Linacy, age 77, passed away on January 17, 2026 at the Aberdeen Hospital.

Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of Reg and Ellen MacLeod.

He was predeceased by sister Mabel Hayden, Barb Webster; and brothers Bob and Doug MacLeod.

Rodger is survived by his son Mark and daughter Kelly; grandchildren Emma, Alex, and Luke MacLeod; great-grandchildren River and Lynx Cormier; brother Reg MacLeod; and many nieces and nephews.

In honor of his wishes, he will be cremated with no funeral or visitation. A private internment will take place in Abercrombie Cemetery at a later date.

Rodger will always be remembered for the loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that he was.
