The Funeral was to be held Thursday, February 12th at 11 am, due to weather conditions it has been rescheduled to FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13th at 11:00 AM IN THE HOLY NAME ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN WESTVILLE.

Obituary of Marilyn Anne Cameron

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn (Underwood) Cameron after a very short illness. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Eileen and Leonard Underwood. Beloved wife of 59 years to husband, Vernon Cameron.

 

Marilyn is survived by her brothers Bill (Donna) Underwood of Middleton & Joe (Joan) Underwood of Pictou. Sisters-in-law Beverly Underwood (Pictou), Carol Cameron (Westville), Dorothy Cameron (Stellarton) & Sheila Smith (Thorburn). And by brothers and sisters in law Cecil (Gerry) Cameron of Westville, Marilyn (Bernie) McCarron of Stellarton. Many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and Great-great nieces & nephews. Marilyn was pre-deceased by her brother Edwin & brothers in law Gary Cameron, Raymond Cameron, and Melvin Smith.

 

Marilyn worked at Scotsburn Dairy Stellarton for 40 years until her retirement. She was also a member of The Church of the Holy Name in Westville and a faithful member of their Catholic Women’s League. Marilyn was so very kind and thoughtful. She was a wonderful home maker & made the best cookies ever. She will be forever loved and missed by her family & friends.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11th from 3pm to 5pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral will take place at The Church of the Holy Name in Westville on Friday, February 13th at 11am with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Family flowers only. Donations to a charity of your choice.
