Obituary of Lester Alan Wright

Alan (Lester) Wright, 63, of Orillia, ON, passed away peacefully in his hometown of New Glasgow, N.S., on February 20th, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

Alan was born on May 11th, 1962 in New Glasgow, N.S., and raised in Stellarton N.S, before moving to Ontario. Alan was known for his love of fishing with his sons, spending time with family, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was a devoted husband, and a loving father, grandfather, and uncle.

Alan was predeceased by his parents Eric and Marie Wright; his son Harley; his brothers Raymond, Eric Jr., Jimmy, and Sid; and his sister Honey.

Alan is survived by his wife of twenty years, Angela, and their sons, Christian, William, and Payne; their son-in-law Graydon and daughter-in-law Cejay, and their grandson Zayne. He is also survived by his daughter Natalie and her mother Nancy; his sisters Jean, Patty, and Anne; his brother Steven; his nieces Tracy (Ronnie) and Chloe; his nephews Lester (Rose), Bo (Debbie), Little Eric, Travis (Sarah), and Matthew; and his great-nieces, great-nephews, and his lifelong best friend Johnny Wilson.

By Alan’s request, there will be no visitation or service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
