Doreen Elaine Barbour Boudreau

1948-2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Elaine Barbour Boudreau who passed away at Valley View Villa, March 23, 2026.

Doreen was born in Edmonton, Alberta, July 17, 1948. She grew up in Edmonton, until she moved to Antigonish with ex-husband Robert Boudreau and had two sons, Andre Boudreau and Richard Boudreau.

Doreen will be remembered for her love and passion of baking, playing bingo, her love of singing and dancing.

Doreen leaves behind her two sons, Andre Boudreau, Richard Boudreau (Rachel Langille’), Grandchildren, Samantha Dube (Alberta), Brett Boudreau (Woodburn), Marcus Boudreau (Kylie Theriault)( Trenton), Leo Boudreau (Trenton),Nate Boudreau (Trenton), Victoria Boudreau (Trenton), Brooke Fraser (New Glasgow), Great Grandchildren, Alya, Maverick and Leela Boudreau-Theriault.

The family would like to thank Highland-Crest Home staff and especially Mary Beaver, Valley View Villa staff the exceptional care gave Doreen over the years.

Fear not the unknown

As sometimes the unknown can be great

The world I leave behind is not what matters most

Love and memories are my legacy

My footprints in the sand may fade

But, my light will never dim

Let the sun on your cheek remind you of my mother’s kiss

The soft wind, as a gentle hug

Rain as tears of joy not sorrow

I will never be gone as long as memories are shared

This is not a Good bye, but

I will see you again.

There will be no visitations or funeral as Doreen’s wishes. Cremation has taken place.
