To Gerry and family I remember when she was operating the store. I would stop in on my way hunting and fishing or on my RCMP patrols. Remembering a lovely lady whose joy and energy always lit up the room. During my time in ministry at St. Columba, as for many years since, Jean was always a willing and faithful worker in the church. A life well lived! My sincere sympathy and prayerful support to Gerry and all the Horne family.

Gerry, When Jeannie was going to Normal College, she roomed at my Grandfather's and became a good friend of my mother Beatrice McCallum (Crowe). Mom often talked about her and about 10 years ago my sister Colleen and I took Mom to visit her in Lorne. It was the only time I ever met her but I remember she was such a lovely lady with a sweet smile. My condolences on her passing. Shelley McCallum
