Obituary of Natalie Jean Bell
Natalie Jean Bell (“Nan”) passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in New Glasgow on March 10, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Pushie.
She graduated from Westville high and Mount Saint Vincent University where she achieved Office administration diploma.
While working at Pieks Appraisals she achieved her Canadian Residential Appraiser education. She later founded NJ Bell Appraisals. A business she dedicated many years to and truly enjoyed.
Above all else, Nan was a proud mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy . Her love was constant, and she built her life around caring for and supporting her family.
Known for her quick wit and infectious laughter, Nan never missed a bingo night with her girls. She enjoyed cranking some tunes and catching up on the latest gossip.
Nan lived with chronic pain for much of her life, a burden she carried with quiet strength and determination. Chronic pain brought difficult days, but those who knew her best understood the strength it took to keep going. She faced life’s challenges with humour, stubbornness, and unwavering strength, paired with her kindness, made her truly unforgettable
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Philip; her children, Jaclyn (Victor), Brittany, and Brandon; and her grandchildren, Kaleb, Gracie, and Sage.
Survived by her sister Valerie and her girls Roberta (Nathan), Tanya (Tyler) and Kelsey (Riley). Her brother Bobby (Pat) and family.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace and held in God’s loving arms.
The family would like to thank VON for the care our mom received over the past few years, as well as the Aberdeen Hospital emergency, respiratory, laboratory, and palliative care teams for their roles in her care
Natalie is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visitation on Wednesday April 22 from 2-4p.m and 7-9pm.
