Obituary of Thomas Favier

The death of Thomas Arthur Favier, age 81, of Hampton, New Brunswick, formerly of Westville, occurred peacefully on March 31, 2026 in Moncton with his family by his side.

Born in Westville, he was the son of the late Art and Lorena (Watters) Favier.

Tom attended Westville schools until moving to complete his high school at the newly opened West Pictou District High School.  He joined the Royal Canadian Army and attended Dalhousie University in the R.O.T.P.  arising to the level of Captain.  He transferred from the military to civil service where he worked for many years with the Federal Government in the I.T. Dept. of Supply and Services. 

He will be dearly missed by his daughter Stephanie Favier-Holland, Riverview, NB;  son Kevin (Darlene), Turnor Lake, Sask.;  his grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Dakota, and Owen;  great-grandchildren;  sisters-in-law, Robina Kellett (Jim) and Evelyn Millen.

He was predeceased by his wife Lillian (Millen);  sisters, Wilma Eagles (Osborne), Frances Ross (Louis), and Lorna Salsman (Mel);  mother and father-in-law, John and Celina Millen;  sister-in-law Sandra Sewell (Russell) and brother-in-law Frank Millen.

A grave side service will be held 1 o'clock Saturday, July 11, at the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
