Obituary of Patricia Anne Dee

Patricia Anne (Johnstone) Dee, 84 of Greenwood, Kings Co. and formally of Westville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton.

A daughter of the late William and Margaret (MacNaughton) Johnstone, Pat was born on September 5, 1941 in New Glasgow.

Being the wife of a military husband, Pat and her children found themselves travelling extensively with James Gordon Dee SR. She enjoyed any and all forms of celebrations; be it a newborn in the family, birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries. Pat was an avid sewer, crafter and knitter and she made the warmest hats, sweaters and mitts. Pat found great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren, spreading her love equally among them all.

Pat is survived by her children, James Gordon JR (Cindy Gates-Dee), Aylesford, Shannen (Shannon Fahie), Milford. Sister, Doreen Johnstone, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Lauren (Scott Lloyd), Kyle Fahie (Jessie-Lee Thompson); great grandchildren, Keith Thompson, Selina Fahie, Jameson Fahie and Glenn Fahie along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pat was predeceased by her parents and husband, James Gordon Dee Sr. son, David Scott Dee, grandson, Liam Frederick Scott Dee (Jacob MacDonald) and her siblings, William Edward Johnstone, John James Johnstone, Margaret “Isabel” (Herbert Higgins), Elenor Mary (Earl Darroch), Catherine “Edith” (Harvey Avery) and brother and sister in laws; Allan Dee and Judith (Dee) Dartt.

A Memorial Service for Pat will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 11AM from Eagles Funeral Home Chapel, Westville, with Jack Canning officiating, reception to follow at the funeral home.
