Obituary of Norman Marshall

Norman Alexander Marshall, 55, of Westville, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 8, 2016 while working at Perch Lake. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Vernon and Doreen (Robson) Marshall. Norman was a carpenter and truck driver by trade, working both in Nova Scotia and Ontario for several years. He also enjoyed working in the woods, hunting, fishing, country music and spending his time at the family camp and cottage. He is survived by his daughters, Carlena Swinamer (Josh MacDonald); Rose Marshall (Evan Macauley); Connie Ivanov (Daniel), and Norma Marshall (Tevin Crawford); grandchildren, Evan, Isla, and Kiya; sister Ann Holmes (David); and brothers Byron Marshall and Gerald Marshall (Linda) and close friend, Shirley Cameron. He was predeceased by his step-father Gerald MacKenzie. Norman rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Friday . A grave side service for family and friends took place 2 o’clock Saturday, August 13 at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Lt. Shauna Goulding officiating.
