Obituary of Keith Bigney

The death of Keith Edward Bigney, 44, of Westville occurred on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side.

 

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Edward and Esther (Drysdale) Bigney.

 

Keith had worked at Trenton Works until its closure, and later worked at a mine in B.C. before returning home to Pictou County. He was currently employed with Jack Russell Trucking and Excavating. Keith had a long and hard battle with illness for the past several years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and friend.

 

He will be dearly missed by his wife Tania (Muir); daughter Jessica Duff (Aaron), Enfield; grand-daughter Dallas, who he adored; his step-father John Connors “JP” (Lila) who was the father Keith knew; sister Michelle Bigney (Wendall), New Glasgow; brother, James Connors (Jessica), Westville; father-in-law Doug Muir (Margie), Edmonton; mother-in-law Darlene Watson, Scotsburn; brother-in-law Doug Muir (Lesley), Tanner Hill Rd; nieces and nephews Devin Bigney and Haley Terry ; Ryan and Shelby Muir; and many aunts and uncles

 

Keith rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Wednesday . His funeral service wasl  held on Thursday at 1 o’clock from Eagles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the Red Cross Canadian Blood Services.
