Obituary of Loretta M. Green

Loretta M.. Green, 92 , years, Dufferin Street, Westville passed away on Tuesday, May11, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she is a daughter of the late Hugh and Florence (Gillis) Campbell. Loretta, having a very strong faith, was a member of The Church of The Holy Name, Westville and was a life member of the Catholic Women’s League having served as President for several years. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Kontuk, Westville, sons, John (Rose), Windsor, Ont; Bernard (Diane), Richmond, B.C.; Thom (Roxanne), Halifax; Joe (Wanda), Grande Prairie Alberta and several grand children and great grand children. She was predeceased by husband, John; daughters, Margaret "Peggy" , Florence and Loretta and sons, Leslie and Stephen; sisters, Sarah Ross, Mary Dunbar, Christy O’Brien, and Kenina "Kay" Belong and brothers Leo, Bill and Edward Campbell. Visitations will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. The Holy Name C.W.L. will recite prayers at 4 o’clock at the Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held 11am Friday from The Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery.
