Obituary of Bob Baudoux
On May 11, 2010, Bob; husband, father, brother and friend passed away due to a neurological disorder. Bob will forever be remembered by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Lee (Grosvold); children; Angela (Michael) Brown, New Glasgow; Anita (Matthew Wells), St Paul AB; Brenton (Carly) Wynn - Baudoux, Saltsprings; sister Diane (Joe) MacKinnon, North Sydney, and brother Art (Rita), Plymouth. Bob will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah and Daniel and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Garfield and Emma (DeBodt) of Stellarton. Special thanks to the staff of Glen Haven Manor, specifically Whispering Tide, for their support during Bob’s brief stay.
Bob was employed with Ben’s Bakery Limited for many years and will be remembered for his work with the 374 F/Lt Chisholm Air Cadet Squadron, Canadian Relief Fund for Victims of Chernobyl in Belarus, Pictou County Injured Workers and the Salvation Army. Bob enjoyed working in his barn, having coffee with friends and spending time with his grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Bob’s family will receive visitors 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Friday May 14, 2010 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm Saturday on May 15, 2010 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with Captain Neil and Dolores Abbott officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later time.
