Obituary of Ronald Sibille
Ronald Victor Sibille, 72, Mount William, Pictou County passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019.
Born on June 16, 1947, he was the son of the late Hector and Mary (Wheatley) Sibille.
Ron was a welder by trade, first working at I. Matheson and Company Ltd. before moving to New Brunswick to work at Saint John Shipyards where he was very proud to work on the Frigates. As a young man, Ron joined the Nova Scotia Highlanders and after his retirement from the Shipyards, worked for the Corp of Commissionaires. Ron enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, fishing and camping.
He will be dearly missed by his companion, Marion Doyle and their fur babies Lucy, Mittens, and Smokey, New Glasgow; daughter Barbara Crowe (Wade), Sussex, N.B.; grandchildren, Kayla Hanlin (Adam), Kelsey Crowe (Shawn) and Matthew Crowe; great grandchildren, Cole, Garrett and Amelia; brother Eric Sibille (Lee), Six Mile Brook; aunt, Eileen Lee, nieces Tanya Delbek (Dwayne), Karen and nephews Derek (Lori) and Aaron (Kristie).
Ron is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Wednesday from 12- 2 p.m. followed by his funeral service which will be held 2 o’clock at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
