Obituary of Whitman Lawrence

George “Whitman” Lawrence of Westville, passed away suddenly at home, with his mother by his side on February 11, 2020, at the age of 56. You could always find Whit with a smile on his face, playing the machines at the Whitetail, hunting at the camp, playing cards with his family or spending time with his best friends, Stephen Duggan and the Weatherbies. Whit is survived by his mother, Sharon (Perrin); brothers, Wayne (Anne), Doug (Connie), Darrell (Rose); sister, Darlene Crockett (Allan); aunt, Faye Crawford (Karl); uncle, Steve Lawrence (Debbie); cousins, Rick Myers (Barb), Kevin (Tina) and Kris Crawford; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Whit was predeceased by his father, Barry Lawrence; paternal grandparents, Whitman and Kathleen Lawrence and maternal grandparents, Fred and Gladys Perrin. Visitation for Whit was held on Friday, February 14, at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, from 12 o’clock to 1:45pm, followed by his memorial service at 2 o’clock from Eagles Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Family flowers only.
