Obituary of Neil Connors

Neil Alexander Connors, 61, of Shady Lane, Lyons Brook, passed away suddenly, March 28, 2020, at home. Born November 21, 1958, he was a son of the late Patrick and Alma Isabelle (Fraser) Connors. He was a former employee of Trenton works, Trenton NS. Neil will be remembered for his love of vehicles and spending time with his kids, grandkids, chosen kids and anyone that wanted to share a beer and a laugh around the table . Neil was always available to lend a helping hand wherever needed. He was affectionately referred to as “ol man”, “pops”, "grumpy grampy" or “dad” by those who loved him. Neil is survived by wife, Rosena (Helin) Connors; sons Joe (Erin) Connors, Robby Hutton (Tasha), and Jason Helin; daughters, Angie (Jason) Chang, Kelly (Ryan) Flood and Rachel Helin; sister, Lynn Marie Connors (Allan Huggan); brother, John Pat (Lila) Connors; numerous grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Jimmy Connors; sisters, Sheila Rhyno and Nancy Montgomery; and a nephew Terry There was no public visitation or funeral service held. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made in Neil's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
