Obituary of John Alex McKinnon

John Alex McKinnon, 55, of New Glasgow passed away on Wednesday, April 15 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow on August 6, 1964, John was a son of Pat (MacEwan) McKinnon of Stellarton and the late James “Jim” McKinnon. John was very much an outdoors person, enjoying nature and was an avid hunter and sport fisherman. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 33 years, Jeannie (Chaulker); children, John “JJ” (Chelsea), Kentville; Saquoia, Kentville; Tony, Halifax; grand children Grayson and Wesley; sister Angela, Stellarton; brother Jim, Kentville; nephews, Jamie and Jordan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no visitations or funeral service by John’s request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
