Obituary of Wendy MacLean

"Wonderful Wendy" With extreme sadness we the family of Wendy Lee MacLean (nee MacNaughton) announce her sudden passing at home on August 8, 2020, after a lengthy health battle at the age of 62. An angel on earth is now at peace. She was born in Wolfville to parents Lew MacNaughton and the late Joyce MacNaughton (Daley) and was a resident of Central West River. Wendy always kept a positive attitude with a smile and never a complaint. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed connecting with both friends and family on Facebook, greeting everyone first thing every morning. Wendy loved to bake and cook for others, spending time with her family, country drives, beach time and was well known for her quick wit and great sense of humour. Wendy leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Bill; son Robert (Jamie) and daughters Megan and Michelle; grandchildren Chloe and Jesse; Braydon and Colton; Makayla and Nathan. She is survived by her siblings Lou Anne, Carol (Doug), Robbie (Bonnie), Judy (Joe), Kathy (David - late), Kelly (Mike) and Michael (Marlene); brother-in-law Bill as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving mother Joyce, sister Lynn and nephew Mark. She will forever be known as Wonderful Wendy and would rather have you spill a beer in her memory than a tear. Love you always. Cremation has taken place and a family grave side service will take place on Friday at 11 am at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glen Matheson officiating. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in Wendy’s name to the SPCA or Aberdeen Health Foundation.
