Obituary of Isobel Conrad

Hazel Margaret Isobel Conrad (Favier), age 91 of Westville Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2020 at Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. Isobel was born May 28, 1929 in Westville, Nova Scotia to Cyrus and Lottie (Bigney) Favier. Isobel attended Westville High School. Isobel worked at Sobeys and Dominion Store in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Isobel married Harold (Hal) Conrad of Trenton, Nova Scotia on June 11, 1958. They lived in Westville, and moved to Halifax in 1962, before moving to Kingston, Ontario in 1963. Isobel is survived by her son Perry Conrad (Jacqueline) Glenburnie, Ontario. Isobel will be dearly remembered by her two grandchildren Michael (Patrizia) from Aurora, Ontario and Melissa (Kirk Haunts) from Port Hope, Ontario. Isobel was a great grandmother to Adamo and Francesca Conrad, Kingsley and Reese Haunts. She was predeceased by her late husband Harold Conrad and her parents Cyrus and Lottie Favier from Westville and her brother’s Murray (Irene McLeod) Favier and Richard Favier. Isobel was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Interment will be at a later date in Auburn Cemetery, Westville, Nova Scotia.
