Obituary of Jacob Grant

Jacob James Kenneth Grant Oct 12, 2011-November 19, 2020.

It is with the greatest pain and sadness that we share the passing of our dear boy, Jacob Grant age 9. He left this earth in his home and now rests peacefully with his angels. Though he didn’t have enough time on this earth he was deeply loved by his family, friends and school community.

Jacob touched the lives of those who loved him with his charming grin, sparkling blue eyes, enthusiastic hugs and his favorite: performing backflips for whoever he was with. He was a talented breakdancer, skateboarder, and had amazing athletic skill and coordination. He also loved to play with his favorite toy, techdecks skateboards.

He is sorrowfully missed by his parents, Sabrina (Kontuk) Grant, and James Grant; his brother Ryland and sister Kyla Grant; his grandparents: Mary (Boyce, Kontuk) Gillis, and Kenny Gillis, Cathy Gerrior and Stephen Grant, and Chuck Kontuk and Barb Coldwell. Also missing Jacob very much on is his Auntie Wanda; Aunt Tammy and Uncle Chris, Aunt Sarah, Aunt Melissa (Huck Lyons) Uncle Chuck and Aunt Tara, Uncle Brad and Aunt Sarah. In addition, his cousins Kaylie, Hunter and Cheyanne, Savannah, Kenzie, Marcus and Zach, Mya and Chloe.

Jacob is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Wesville where a public visitation will be held on Monday Nov 23 from 6-8 for the community. (masks are mandatory).

Private family visitation will take place earlier and a reception will be held at the Stellarton Legion for all who would like to gather in support of the family and in memory of Jacob
