Obituary of Tanya MacKenzie

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tanya Dawn MacKenzie on December 16, 2020 at 28 years of age.

Tanya was born at the Aberdeen Hospital on January 27, 1992 to John "J.D." and Nancy (Lowe) MacKenzie.

Tanya had many interests such as music, movies, and technology to mention a few.

Besides her parents, she is survived by sister Brittany MacKenzie (Dylan Chase), whom she absolutely adored; paternal grandmother Ada Bryanton; uncles and aunts Charles and Skookie Lowe and Al and Paula Lowe; like a sister Brooke Dean; and her cat fur babies Meekia and Myla.

She was predeceased by maternal grandparents Harold and Leona Lowe and paternal grandfather Allister MacKenzie.

Her family will receive visitors at public visitation on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville (masks are required). A private funeral service will be held at Eagles Funeral Home and will be streamed live to the public at 2 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating (http://youtu.be/rYZSywBUKmA). Interment will be in the Abercrombie Cemetery.
