Obituary of Ronald Doyle

Ronald “Ronnie” David Doyle, 48, Water Street, Pictou, formerly of Plymouth passed on Saturday, June 19, 2010 as the result of a fire at his residence. Ronnie was born in New Glasgow on December 9, 1961 a son of the late Ronald “Rannie” and Margaret (Gerrior) Doyle. Ronnie was a cook by trade and was a former employee of The Pictou Lodge and Murphy’s Restaurant. He is survived by his sisters, Jeanne (Paul) Desveaux, Halifax and Reva (Harold) Atkins, New Glasgow and 5 nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitations or funeral service. A grave side service will take place at Lourdes Cemetery on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations in Ronnie’s memory may be made to the Pictou Volunteer Fire Department, or the Pictou County Help Line. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thank you to the Pictou Volunteer Fire Department and the Pictou Detachment of the R.C.M.P.
