Obituary of Mike Brownrigg

It is with tremendous sorrow we announce the passing of Robert Michael Brownrigg on March 3, 2021 with his loving wife by his side.

Mike will forever be remembered as a hard working husband, father, grandfather and friend who had a loving and generous heart. A country boy at heart, he always had a passion for the open road, he loved trucks and fast cars.

Mike loved his family beyond compare and thought the world of his close friends and his dear mother-in-law Audrey Coady (Works).

He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Joyce (Phalen) Brownrigg; sister Christeen (Shrum) Brownrigg; infant sister Bernadette and nephew Mitchell Shrumm.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife of 51 years, Christeen; his children Susan, Michael, David and Maryanne; sister Bonnie Thompson; his 10 grand children, Emily, Travis, Summer, Noah, Brianna, Josee, Jes, Calen, Riley and Kara; and 6 great grand children, Alexis, Ty, Anna Mae, Cameron, Jayden and Layla and one on the way.

The family extends a very special thank you to Dr. Kwasnik, Debbie Williams, Rachel MacDonald, the Staff of the Palliative Care,and all the V.O.N.wh came to his home.

Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date.
