Obituary of John "Jay" MacPherson

John Joseph "Jay" MacPherson, 38 of Westville, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Calgary.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Nancy Johnson (Garfield), Granton and John Dan MacPherson (Shirley), Westville.

Jay grew up in Westville and moved to Alberta 18 years ago to work in the oil and gas industry.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Mark MacPherson, Calgary and Devin MacPherson, Westville; step brothers and sisters, Kevin Johnson, Westville; Raymond Johnson, Westville; Joanne Buckee, Vancouver; Darlene Chapman, Washington; J.R. MacDonald, New Glasgow and Warren MacDonald, Westville.

He was predeceased by a brother Michael MacPherson and grandparents, John and Eleanor Dixon and Joe and Cavell MacPherson.
