Obituary of Beverley Thorne

Beverley Ann Thorne, 56, of Coalburn, passed away peacefully May 14, 2021, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow, on March 22, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Doug and Sharon (Wilson) Logan.  Bev enjoyed spending lots of time with her family and close friends.  She was a valuable member of her community and loved helping others.  She loved and was adored by her grandchildren.  Bev will be remembered for her kindness and compassion to others; especially as a wife, mother, sister, friend, aunt and nanny. 

Surviving is her husband Bob Thorne, children, Tracey MacLeod (Andrew), Green Hill and Christopher Thorne (Jeanne), Nine Mile River; grandchildren, Josie and Morgan; sister Donna Logan (Gordie), Westville.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Sherry Gower.

Bev’s family extends a very special thank-you to the doctors and nurses of the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
