Obituary of Derek Hansen

William Derek Hansen, 50, of Niagara Falls, passed away on July 28, 2021.  

Born in Ottawa, Derek was the son of Leona Stewart, New Glasgow and the late William Hansen.

Besides his mother, he is survived by brother Peter Hansen (Jasmine), Ottawa; sister Kim Hansen, Washington;  nieces and nephew, William, Sophie, and Nicolle; step-sisters, Wanda Druham, Green Hill; Shelley MacPherson, Salem; special aunt Penny, Ottawa; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

Derek was a smart, creative, artistic person, a beautiful talent.  We in the family seem to have something special he made for us.  Burial will be at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa at a later date.
