Obituary of Royce McGillivary

Royce E. McGillivary, age 80, of White Hill, Pictou Co., passed away on Friday, November 5,  2021 at home.  

Royce was born in Annapolis Valley on April 9, 1941, a son of the late Robert Laughlin and Annie Catherine (Reid) McGillivary.

Royce was a retired school bus driver and  was a member of Westville Salvation Army.  

Royce is survived by brother-in-law Robert (Sandra) Partington and sister-in-law Joyce Marcipont;  nephews Michael and Donald Partington, and several cousins.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Adelene (Partington) McGillivary as well as brother-in-law Leonard Marcipont.
                            
There will be no visitations.  His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Friday, November 12, at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with Major Dan Roode officiating. Masks are mandatory and proof of both Covid 19 vaccinations and I.D. are required to attend the funeral. Burial will be in St. Bees Cemetery.
