A public funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at Holy Name Parish, Westville on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Proof of Vaccines, ID and masks are required. The funeral van also be watched by visiting the facebook page: Stella Maris- Holy Name Church.
I just received back the Christmas card I sent to Aunt Vonnie and this is how I learned of her death. So sorry to hear! We had been corresponding and talking for 5 years and this is terrible news since that means Uncle Paddy is all we have left. Vonnie was my mom Florence's baby sister and we will miss her. Florence passed in 1999 and keeping track of her family has been difficult. To the rest of the family -- take care and stay safe. To those who care to know -- my dad, Elmer, passed in 2009.

Dear Family,
I only just heard through my sister in Truro of your Mom's passing.
We were great friends in our younger years and even on to High School. Since I lived at the very end of Acadia Ave. I seldom went home for lunch. I often spent my lunch time at your Mom's home. We often had fun sleepovers. In Grade 6 We were the last two remaining contestants in a Spelling Bee. It was touch and go for some time before Yvonne was claimed the winner, (we still remained friends).....I eventually moved away and lost touch with my high school friends. I looked for your Mom when I was home for the WHS 100 th reunion, but unfortunately, was told that she wouldn't be attending..
Although I have never had the pleasure to meet Yvonne's family, but from what I read she has a family who did her proud.
