Obituary of Bill Rundle

William (Bill) Clarence Rundle, 68 of MillBrook passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Bill was born on July 23, 1953, a son of the late Clarence and Peg Rundle of Westville.

Bill was a lover of the outdoors and an avid hunter. He took great pride in his work - that can been seen in Millbrook where all his perfectly shaped Christmas trees are in his backyard.

Bill, aka Papa, loved and cherished his family. He was a true family man and an honest friend. Many of his weekends were spent at the kitchen table playing cards, having a drink and sharing laughs with Brenda and their best friends Bill and Dale. You knew you were in for a good time when the Bill’s were together. At a dance or party you would find Bill on the dance floor, a sweaty mess, and he loved every minute of it.

Bill worked hard and loved harder. He and Brenda spent 50 years together in Millbrook where they raised their 3 kids. He welcomed all sorts to his homestead. He would make you feel welcome and try his best to give you anything you needed.

His true pride and joy were his 6 grandchildren. Whether it was working outside or having them for sleep overs in MillBrook, to visits to Newfoundland, he loved them with every piece of himself.

Married for 48 years, Bill will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Brenda (MacKenzie), daughters Kelly(Dan), and Tracey (Keith); son Brody (Christa); grandsons Bradyn, Camdyn, Connor, Declan and Drew and his princess Kaitlyn; sister, Faye (Edwin);  brothers Tom (Tanya) and Bobby;  brothers-in-law Buck and Dean;  sister and brother-in-law Doreen & Gordon;  close friends Dale, the Roddick Trio and his Golden Girls.

Bill was predeceased by his sister Roberta Jackson and his best friend Bill Roddick.

Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
