Obituary of Linda Hubley
With profound sadness, we the family of Linda Joyce Hubley wish to announce her passing on December 25, 2021 in the Palliative care unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.
Linda is the daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Daken) Hubley of Westville.
Linda was very passionate about her hockey games and baseball. She never missed a game. She loved her stories on T.V., bingo and her puzzle books. Linda lived her life the way Linda wanted to never asking anything of anyone. She lived a very simple life. She did everything on her own time. Such a determined soul and a great sense of humour. Linda fought a very short but brave battle with her illness.
Linda is survived by her daughter Stacey (John Langille) Aspen; son Corey, Liverpool, N.S; grandson Jason and two grandchildren in Alberta; sisters, Florence Haggerty, Montreal; Laura Jean Hubley (Smith), Karen Smith, New Glasgow; Carol Ann Hubley, Westville; Nancy (Gordon) Mackenzie, Westville; Debbie (Arnie) Cameron, Hopewell; Dagmar Hubley, Westville; brothers, Cecil (Sandra) Hubley, New Glasgow; Harold(Sharon), Medicine Hat Alberta; George( Cherri), Coruna, Ont.; Earl (Aya), Airdrie, Alberta; Scott ,Westville; Ken (Rona), Salem; many nieces, nephews and aunts; and special long-time friend Betty MacDonald of New Glasgow.
Linda is proceeded by brothers, Gordan (infancy), Robert Roy “Bob”; sisters Kay Skidmore and Marie Collins; and several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
We wish to extend much gratitude to the Palliative care Doctors and Nurses who gave Linda the utmost care and compassion. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation to take place The family will have a private celebration of life and committal .
