A public funeral service will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday, June 12 at Eagles Funeral Chapel. Due to covid restrictions pre-registration will be required to attend the funeral service. Please call Eagles Funeral Home 902-396- 4144  to register. Obituary of Darlene Watson

It is with sadness, we announce the death of Darlene Elizabeth Watson, 71 who passed away unexpectedly on January 5,  2022 at her residence in Scotsburn. 

Darlene grew up on Old Halifax Road and later moved to British Columbia for several years before returning to Pictou County 10 years ago.     

Darlene will be sadly missed by her daughter Tania Wood (Darren), Westville; her son Doug Muir ((Lesley), Tanner Hill; grand children Jessica Duff (Aaron), Shelby and Ryan Muir; great grand children Dallas, Grayson and Baylor as well as sisters Sheila Livingstone, Cindy Ariganello and Jan MacDonald. 

She was predeceased by her second husband, David Watson, father Harry MacKay, mother Olive (Geddes) and step mother Helen MacKay; brother Wesley MacKay and son-in-law Keith Bigney.
