Obituary of Richard Ross

Richard Alan Ross, 49, of Westville, passed away suddenly in Lochaber on August 3, 2010. Born in Trenton, he was the son of Gerald and Muriel Ross of Trenton. He was a former employee of Trenton Works. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman, and animal lover. Richard was an avid antique bottle collector and he enjoyed motorcycling, ATVing, and spending time with his family, friends, and walking his beloved dog Tiffany. Richard will be sadly missed by wife Diane (Langille); daughter Rebecca, at home; two brothers, John (Jennifer), Loch Broom, Billy (Heather), Delta, Ont.; two sisters, Carol Stewart (Doug), Trenton, Joyce Ross (Dave Dickinson) Kenzieville; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Cremation will follow. His memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Sunday at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Interment will be in Toney Mills Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
