Obituary of Jean Muir

It is with heavy hearts we announe the death of our mother, Jean Muir, 92 of Westville on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Valley View Villa.

Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Julia (Frost) Snelgrove.

Jean had chosen to be a stay at home maker to raise her three children and had resided in Stellarton, Island East River and Westville.  She enjoyed bowling, curing and fishing.  With failing health. she and her husband moved to Valley View Villa a year ago.

Jean will be dearly missed her husband, Harry,  daughter Sandra, son David , grand daughter Savanna  (Michael) and great grand daughter Ava Rae.   She is also survived by sisters, Florence MacNeill-Knoll, Truro;  Muriel MacDonald (Herbie), Lyons Brook and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Harry (Jr.), three infant sons;  sisters Ida Hale and Anna MacGrath and  brothers Clifford and Major Walter Snelgrove.

There will be no visitations or funeral service by request.
