First Love
Some of the glamour lingers. Some of the magic yet.
And I can not quite remember, and still not quite forget.
The moon was a wraith obscure and pale, and the skies had a single star for sale.
And he bought the star for me, and we laughed a lot at his fantasy.
And that’s all I remember, and all I seem to know of one who bought me a star -
A long time ago
