Obituary of James Chesnutt

James Lloyd Chesnutt 78, Riverview Residental Centre, Pictou County passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec 31, 2022.

Born in Cameron Settlement, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Isabelle(Cameron) Chesnutt.

Jimmy was a resident of Riverview Adult Residental Centre for the last 50 years of his life.
He also worked for Summer Street Industries, enjoyed bowling, county music, old westerns and drives around the county.

He will be missed by sisters Jean, Joanie, Nancy, Ruth, Tris; brothers
George, Mike, Bobby, John, Kelly and Tony. Special mention to his close personal friends Marie MacPherson and Crystal Connors.

He was predeceased by his sister Cathy.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or memorial service as per family request. A committal will be held at a later date in the Birch Hill Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to Riverview Adult Residential Centre Volunteer Association.

Jimmy's family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Riverview, especially the ones on the Stone Brook Unit, who treated him with kindness, compassion and respect through the years.
