Obituary of Stuart Saunders

Stuart passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Riverview Adult Residential Centre, Riverton on Monday Feb. 20, 2023.  Thank you, your kindness and care of our brother will always be remembered.  

Born in Pictou County, he was the son of the late Mary Ann McLean.

Stuart loved his music and always writing songs.  He loved Elvis and old cars, loved going for drives anywhere.

 
Surviving are his sisters Gloria Halliday (John) , Donna Cyr (Gary), Margaret Grant (Kelly); brothers Perry Saunders and Daniel McLean (Karen).

He was predeceased by infant brothers Howard and Harold; brother Gary Mitchell; and sister Sheila Lawson. 

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or service.  A committal will be held at a later date.  Donations in his memroy may be made to the Riverview Adult Residentail Centre Recreation Fund.
