Obituary of Kathleen Sutherland

Kathleen Lorriane Sutherland, 95 of Riverton, formerly of Lansdowne passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Nine Mile River, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Myrtle (Wood) MacPhee.

Kathleen was a private person who spent most of her time with her husband on their farm in Lansdowne. She enjoyed the country way of life, the animals, birds and nature. 

She was the last one of her family and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1992 and by sisters Pearl Spencer and Mabel Hughes and brothers, Victor, Myron, Basil and Scottie MacPhee.          

There will be no visitations or funeral by her request. Her interment will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery, Gairloch at a later date.
