Obituary of David Chaisson
It is with sadness we announce the death of David Swain “Peewee” Chaisson, age 63, on Wednesday, April 19 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with his family by his side.
Born in Neil’s Harbour on April 23, 1959, he was a son of the late Zepheron and Theresa (Petrie) Chaisson. .
Dave worked at Trenton Works for several years and painted lots of places around the county. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, playing for the Middle River Tractor Team and watching the Maple Leaf’s and Blue Jays. David was often seen driving around in his grey 1981 Ford F150 enjoying a nice cup of tea. His greatest enjoyment was watching his children grow and play the sports they loved.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Kirstin Noiles (Matt); son Tim (Alice); grandchildren, Zoey and Kaycee Noiles; Brooklyn Francis and Grayson Chaisson; and wife Faith (Hayter). He is also survived by sisters and brothers Stanley, Margie (Greg), Stuart (Lucina), Johnny (Wanda), Richie (Melody), Eileen; brother in law Danny and many neices and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Linda and an infant sister Jacqueline.
Public visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. A private family grave side service will be held 1 o’clock Saturday at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Gairloch. Donations in his memory may be made to a charitable of one's choice.
